Papa a la huancaina Receta - Recipe




Papa a la Huancaina
(Hot Potato Salad with Cream Cheese)


INGREDIENTS

6 Potatos ( 6 papas grandes)

Cream Cheese Philadelphia (1 barra de queso cream Philadelphia)

1 Crackers unsalted about 20 pieces ( Crackers sin sal)

2 tbsp. Peruvian Yellow hot pepper ( Aji amarillo molido)

1/2 Small Onion diced (mitad de cebolla pequena)

2 Cups Regular Milk (2 tazas de leche regular)

1/8 cup Olive Oil (1/8 de taza de Aceite de Oliva)

Salt (Sal)

Hard Boil Eggs (Huevos duros)

Lettuce


DIRECTIONS

  • Blend these ingredients Milk, yellow hot pepper, crackers and cream cheese until done.


  • Add diced onions and salt


  • Last while blender is on running add oil.


  • Separately boil potatos as for baked potatos. Boil the eggs. Have these two thing ready for serving

SERVE



  • Boiled potatoes served on a bed of lettuce leaves. Pour creamy sauce over potatoes. Add Eggs cut in half over potatoes.
